engine mount bushings

Hi.  I need some guidance on engine mount bushings that the bolts go through.  I need a bushing that has a 5/16 ID and not sure what the OD should be and should it be 4130.

 

 

Also,  What type of washer (metal) should I weld to the bushing.

I am thinking that you are talking about the firewall bushings that the mount bolts to - mild steel bushings and unplated steel washers work just as well as the 4130 bushings, and are easier to ream after welding if you need to do that. Same goes for the bushings and washers on the mount itself - 5/8 OD should be plenty.
