STRUT BRACES???

How about posting some strut brace tube sizes on whatever plane you have?  The later GW models and Magnum would be more informative.  I am making new 1" struts.  My Kitfox 2 struts were 3/4" diameter with a 1/2" brace tube.

Not Jury Struts.

My Magnum struts are 1" in diameter. They also have the wooden speed fairings glued to them, I'm sure that adds some strength too.

Ed, the cross tubes at the top and bottom of the struts are 1/2" tubing.

     now I am curious about a cross tube at the bottom of the strut - can you post a photo?  Does it really need a tube there?
