Mendocino Coast flight

I flew 90 miles to the NorthWest today to a little airport called Ocean Ridge. The weather was perfect and no fog in sight. I met up with a buddy in an S7 along the way. After we left that airport we flew 50 miles down the Mendocino Coast where the Redwoods grow. Very nice flight!!

Nice photos Joey, but must have taken a long time at the indicated "0.0" airspeed?

Never heard any more about the 6.8 quake there - must have been no damage.

Nice pictures, I'm jealous. Didn't get to fly again today due to winds and bumpy conditions. I should have gone back out to the airport later this evening when it calmed down but I had already gotten started on something else and didn't feel like stopping to run the 11 miles to the airport.....oh well.

Those buildings look like Hari Krishna temples or something similar.

Thanks for posting the pics Joey, looks like a nice flight.  Do they let you land on the beaches down there?

Randy no thst whole area is protected wildlife area or state parks that you have to pay to even walk on. The temples are the Copper Mountain Mandala Odiyan retreat center.
