Back in the air

Avid 279 stretched her wings today for the first time since May 22nd due to my deployment. She flew awesome. My new exhaust mount worked well and there was no leaks after replacing the entire fuel system. I had forgotten how much fun these birds are to fly. Sure is a nice feeling knowing I have a plane in the hangar ready to go fly again. I did 4 full stop landings and some did some playing around just outside the pattern until I could make some nice coordinated turns again. When set up properly these little planes fly so predictable and nice.

And you didn't notice the wet spots on the floor where she cried because you were away?

Good to have you back Joey - Welcome back to the country you were protecting.

Good to have you back safely Joey!

I sent you a message via FB, but just in case...I just, today, got around to UPS'ing the glue to you. Sorry for the delay! It should be there early next week.

Happy flying,

Ron
