GETTING UNGLUED

Does anyone know a chemical or other way of getting something unglued with the Hysol 9460?

I have used a torch, but want to save the wood fairing strips on struts when I change struts to bigger tubes.

Up late, too, Ed?

I've heard of good results with a heat gun to loosen Hysol.

Must be up too late or too early - brain has been cooked this summer with all the 100+ temps.

DUH - Now where did I put those heat guns?

Thanks,

Ed, when you wake up ;) a soldering iron works good too. I'm definitely ready to say good by to the heat and hello Fall! Can't wait to fly in some good thick air again! Bryce

I must have a real high metabolism - hot all the time - just cant take the heat here, although I was born here - one reason I loved Alaska so much. But my wife freezes at 70F....22C?

All summer I have this recurring dream of getting into the bird and watching the frost form on inside of windsheild...

Love winter flying. No bugs in plane or in air either.

Thanks for reminding me of heat gun - That and 2 screwdrivers to pry with worked great. Got all 4 off just fine.
