Does anyone know where I can get a template for a STOL wing ribs ?
-
OK guys, Thanks for the info. I will be running off of the header tank. I just need to start it to put fogging oil in it for the winter.
-
Just wondering if it is ok to start up your plane with the wings folded back or is that a bad thing to do ?
-
I cant fly it. It needs some repairs to be done with it. I brought it home to Ohio from Florida this summer, but i didnt have time or that green stuff to work on it. I plan on working on it this next year if I can.

What brand of fogging oil do all of you Avid fliers use?I am getting ready to store my plane for winter and just wondering what everyone uses.
Thanks, Avid Bob

Hi, my name is Bob Buehler and live in Creston,OH. I bought an Avid Flyer model 1. It is in Florida and plane on bringing it home this summer. It has a 532 Rotax electric start.with a trailer.
Ive been a big airplane fan and been wanting to learn to fly. This year I was planning on starting to build a plane. I had a Corvair motor for some time to use but my brother in Florida told me about this plane. So I took the plung and bought it. I just need to learn to fly. I plan on getting my licence in a year or two. I guess I am doing it backwards, but when the chance comes along you got to grab it.So I don't know to much about flying and this plane but I'm learning. I'm getting a lot of good info from this website, so thanks to every one.

Having trouble downloading the 5 manual files. Correction I can down load them but they wont open. They seem to be corrupted. I even tried them at work but still did not work. The AD file worked ok.
