nlappos,  at what rpm are you getting 6gph. Don't know what mine is burning

we have finally found the reason for the overheating. the symptoms  didn't fit the

problem, burnt head gasket. flew it today, new gasket, temps stayed @160

Ok, you guys running the 670 are very quiet.

Leni and I have been dealing with a heating  problem. Other than that its is good.

Engine is very smooth and very powerful.

I went with  a new alum radiator and air scoop. Has 6 hrs on it now and last

flight went well no heating. Went back ton 6lb rad cap and it helped.

I finally got the registration on the  mod 1 I am working on. How ever on the mod 4, I did print the Kitfox letter

and mail it along with all the required paper work, and of course it was rejected, with help from our new FAA

Rep. Dave, we got the registration. However the letter from Kitfox did nothing to help. More or less FAA said

Kitfox doesn't tell them what to do and they wanted a "Bill of Sale from the manufacture". Dave talked to them

and was able to get around the Bill of Sale problem but it took several calls and letters.....and time.

Leni says, " I want to build the gear for  your (mine) plane so I can beat it up" That's the reason I get one first.

And I don't have a problem with using the plane to test the gear. My even use my mod 4 with the 670.

Only have a couple hrs on the 670 so that's a way to fly off the 40, it seems like a bull so far.

The bolt holes are roughly 21/2" X 2 11/16"

As you can see the cooling fine are straight, snow machine are angled.

I am in need of a 440/447 cylinder straight fin head.

I have a Kitfox mod 2 with F30 duel carb I'll be rebuilding soon.

Older motor that I sent off to have duel ignition and bigger starter installed.

Good information. I don't remember my mod 3 SN but it had the side rail mounts. 

I'm pretty sure that's a model 1 mount, it has the cowl mounts
