Hi, I have a plan built Avid Flyer (plans by Ron Walker) From What I can see the plane is an Avid Flyer but has a wider fuselage seating area, It has a Grove landing gear and a Great planes 2180cc 75hp VW motor with less than 4 hrs. on it and the weight in the plans is listed as 1150lbs, The plane was test flown for about 35 minutes and landed for adjustments and fine tuning, have a look at the pictures and the video, please PM me if interested, I am listing this here first to give the Avid crowd first opportunity, price is $8500.
