Thanks, yes I was mostly wondering if you have fitted a belt drive on a Yamaha, tested it, and flown it for a period of time.
Or are you proposing a new prototype build to be tested by the buyer?
The reduction drive has been tested on many motors and the Yamaha is no different from them, if you do not take into account the special adapter plate. The only special motor is the BMW R1100 - R1200, which has a very uneven torque.

Or would that be a custom job.
If you mean the apex Yamaha, then the beltbox for it will fit with a slight change (add one belt) and the price will increase by $ 200. I can install a one-piece belt as desired, this is +50 $.

Thanks for the good rating, we try to pay attention to the appearance. The cost of a set for rotax with an electric starter is $700 + shipping, for conversions kit (80-150 hp) - 1000$ + shipping. Electric starter for rotax - 550$ + shipping.

Oh, Totally agree with you. I install a redrive on the motors that I can buy, but I can’t buy it in my country in the pit. Can someone help buy this motor in the USA? Or someone wants to install a gearbox on his motor on mutually beneficial conditions?
