  1. Hello Avidfox crew. My name is Jonathon. I’ve been reading here for a couple years now. I own a Kitfox 1 and am working on my PP. I will be moving soon to the British Virgin Islands and will likely not have complete my classes. I have found a Flight school in St Thomas to continue taking lessons.....

    So my question is:

Do the ultralight regulations of the United Kingdom apply to the British Virgin Islands?

I have been searching for sometime on Google and have found no information. The school in Saint Thomas (US Virgin Islands) does not know but is going to look into it for me. I was hoping maybe someone on this forum knows.
    Thank you in advance.

  2. I know this is an old post but... My 532 Electric start does fine with an AMG Scorpion YT9A 130CCA 9AH. It weighs 8.3lbs.  I do live in Las Vegas though. I doubt it would be sufficient at or below freezing. I bought it mainly because it fit perfect in the battery box the airplane came with and the fact that it only cost $50
