Next question. Where can I find the streamlined wood pieces for the wing struts? I've struck out.

Reading up on the Cherry page in the Spruce catalog. The second number is not the length of the rivet. It's the maximum grip length. Thanks for the assistance everybody.

Didn't know there was a code for blind rivets. Thanks. So AA44F would probably be aluminum 1/8" x 1/4"?

I made one today that looks a lot like yours, but I don't know what alloy I have and i don't have any exact dimensions.

More questions. Manual says use SS43FS and  AA44F rivets on the trim tab. Spruce doesn't list either one. Are there replacement numbers? What are you guys using?

I don.t seem to have the elevator trim horn, pat no. HT-7D. Anybody have any info on material, dimensions, etc. so I can make one? Thanks. Photos also appreciated,

I did mine with 3/16 from Spruce. Measures about  0.195

I know I saw the service bulletin for the ribtail reinforcements somewhere on here. It had drawings and measurements. Can someone point me to it?

I'm getting ready to wrap the tanks with fiberglass. The new tanks came with my kit and I don't have any info on what they're made of. Just trying to decide what kind of resin to order. 

i saw a discussion here awhile ago about the ethanol resistant tanks. Can't find it now. Talked about which resins are compatible and which aren't.

Finally getting back to the project a bit. Installing the new tanks. Should be ready for covering pretty soon.

Are those reinforcing plates held on with wood screws?

Avid assembly manual says Dow Corning W-9. Any substitutes?

My assembly manual says to prime with Dow Corning W-9 before gluing ribs to aluminum spars. Can't find it. What is everybody using?
