  1. I have a 2012 Rotax 912 ULS for sale with original logbook, no damage history and 8.2 hours since new.  I originally bought this for my Kitfox 7, but have decided to go with a new engine with warranty, ring mount included etc.  Asking price is $14,900 and is negotiable.  Engine was last run in summer of 2018.  Ad is also on Barnstormers.

  2. I would HIGHLY suggest that you find someone who knows about these types of aircraft to go look with you.  Not just any pilot, but someone who knows these planes.  Sometimes wanting something bad just means that you get it bad.  There are deals to be had on these airplanes, especially the earlier ones, which this is, you just have to put in the time looking for them.

  3. My lower tubes are 19 3/16 and from the bottom of the tubes to the top of the brake pedals is only 9.  I don't currently have a lot of room to play with in either direction .

I appreciate your indulgence, but I guess I would be better to let Jim have these.

    Thanks again,

    Leslie

  4. Anyone have any idea what the compatibility would be between the Kitfox 1 hydraulic rudder pedal setup and an Avid A or B model?

If they would be compatible...Whizzers, what would you want for the setup? Already have the wheels and brakes.

  5. I was working on my doors for my 2008 SS Kit today and noted that my door latches don't look like anything in my 2008 manual or the current manual.

During my research, I noted two things, one is that the new build manual uses screws instead of rivets, but too late for that, I have already drilled the first door, so on to rivets for me....all 56 per door.

The latches that I have appear to be the Murle Williams latches, but can't seem to find any good pictures of them mounted or instructions of how they are supposed to be mounted.

If I don't get any answers here, I guess that I can try and give Murle a call next week, but am hoping someone here can assist.

It is probably simple, but I am just not seeing it and there doesn't seem to be any good way to mount it with the limited door gap around the frame.

    TIA

  6. The radiator shop mentioned that possibility, but was unsure about how much it would cost or if their supplier would create a core that small and that it might end up costing as much as a new one.  I was unsure, initially, about the material, but the radiator ship said that this one is brass and bronze, someone before me just painted it.
