Hi all
try call the no, on the avid magnum and Catalina add, it’s Jim and Kim (Tomash) probably misspelled. I can start checking on my end if there’s a weld shop that can copy mine, what engine are you planning to use
thx B well rjg

Well I have bin reading that add for a month, and can’t stop thinking about it . I’m positive this won’t work but could 3 or 4 of us go together buy it decide who would build and supply witch major components? Say 1- wings.fiberglass components 2- fuselage 3 -control surfaces and landing gear. 4 - or some thing like that (pipe dream)
Thx rjg

I have found definitely 2 rudder nights 48” & 53” I saw a hand written note in a magnum build manual that indicates a 55” variant also .it would be relatively easy to bend and weld in new tubing, I’m interested in if the vertical stabilizer is the same on all magnums or changes with rudder size , and are the horizontal stabilizer and elevator different ?
thx rjg

Hi some more
I measured my rudder it’s 48”, at some point someone wrote in papers with my kit the later rudders were 55” and earlier magnums had 51” rudders

My plan is to clean and inspect and then coat inside of journal run a wood or composite prop.if there is bad pitting I’m looking for information on a O-340 crank ,
