yes you are right as out of the 60 odd that we have sold in the UK over the past couple of years only 2 have been tail dragger one with a rotax and the other with 6 cylinder jab. I help the guys out at bristell UK so I'm extremely familiar with the aircraft and aso know the guys from that states and been in the red one.what a beautiful birds they are to fly and have thought about selling my jab powered sportcruiser  many many times to upgrade to the NG5.

That's a bristell and I help build and test fly these in the UK and what  lovely birds they are and we have build the first super charged one in the UK using a rotax 912. This I one we built end of last year 

No problem ak just keep me updated for when you are ready to sell but In the mean time do you have the drawings for the original gear 

Hi guys do any of you have drawings for the standard tailwheel gear and also cabane gear as I would like fabricate a set so I go back to a tail wheel aircraft

This is the final panel layout so now it's ready to be prepped and painted so the next pic will be with the panel installed.

Hi Mike thanks for that and it is a great little plane but im not to keen on the colour. I have lots what do you want to see ? This is me doing the annual service on the valve clearance. 

Yeah the 532 is a crap engine and I'm not to keen on the 582 but believe it or not the engine wasn't at fault it was the spring in the radiator cap had broken and it popped off. I did read your report and you are one very very lucky man. I like the videos and keep up the good work 

Just going through some of my old pictures and have come across my first avid which I rebuilt and had a rotax 582 engine failure after take off on my first solo flight (800 feet) and it was a little bit exciting.  Very sad times 

Taking out the old seats and making some new ones.

I have a aluminium tank which is bespoke made and haven't had any issues with it in the 6 years it's been in. My header tank is behind my seat with a double facet pump system just in case one fails.

I think so as Well cause you can't beat the 912 and I will go that way when the bmw gives up the ghost 

MGL extreme turned up today with sp6 and sp7 module.

this will be the new layout what do you guys think 

I thought it was time to take out the old panel and install a new one so the avid will be out of action for a little while but I will post a picture with the new panel before it goes in

I believe to date that my avid is the only one flying with the bmw engine in the uk if not the world. You might find more kf5 with o200 tho.
