Here is F7a drawing
The 70° angle seems odd: looks more like 100°
And what about f37a part? Its not going together?
Maybe à group buy may convince mypaul ?

@Dusty : the concerned modifier parts are available (f7a f37a) ? @EDMO : I would be actualy more trusting airdale than my own skills, are they out of business? Thanks

Hello,
My Avid is the 532 version with side cooler, are f7a (&F37a?) Appropriated parts for this model? Still possible to get them from airdale? (I live in Europe...)
Thank you

Ballistic has 2 main applications : loss of controls due to "inner" cause (blocked or rupted command) or when external damage occur (damaged elevator is common reason), I fly in very busy airspace (gliders mainly) . Structural defect seems rare for Avid but has been a valid reason of Ballistic use! (wing rupture..)
IMO that's enough reasons to try to install this ,I chose a BRS 900 (410kgs) , a little lighter, was even cheap (rocket supposed to be expired )
Was yesterday around fuselage uncovered, I still don't see where to install the canister due to control linkages in the middle ...

thanks you answer, but BRS is not giving special instructions for AVID , as there are many CG configurations according to situation ... mine is at workshop at the moment ,having a 462 rotax without electric starter , it is one of these one can consider to do this way..
anyway, ist'n there any picture showing installation exemples? that would help in any case..

this is canister version ...
my Avid is already "light forward" .. was really considering all possibilities to put be in front
I can convert it to soft pack if better, I know someone who makes custom cordura packs and repack them
looks like this one
