I have the fiberglass seat now and always wondered what the sling seat looks like and if I would have to modify anything for it to work. My seat sits almost vertical making long flights kind of miserable. 

How many feet does it take to do the landing gear ? I forgot how much I ordered a couple years ago amd want to change mine soon . 

Just made these for a obvious beer .... Light up draft system, I made 2 draft systems that are missiles. Just waiting for them to come back from powder coat. I took a before picture but the file is to big to load.

Still in the testing phase of it . I did figure out a electronic fuel gauge set up for my plane that I haven't gotten around to doing yet.

Like I said I'm a Lockwood fan . They've helped me so many times through the years with parts and what not I usually deal with them only. 

I've been dealing with Lockwood for so long I would go to them . Also depends on where you live too if that's a factor.

I've never heard anyone putting them on the flaperons so definitely keep us posted . 

I couldn't find anyone near me so I ended up reading as much as I could about my mk4 speedwing and since it's a tri gear I picked a nice day and went for it. The plane takes of like a rocket but it's so much fun to fly. I wouldn't recommend what I did with a taildragger since they are a little squirly on the ground . I flew a ton of lsa planes so I kind of had a idea what to expect. Good luck with the transition training they are definitely fun to fly .

I just tried the new powder coat I got. It cures like grip tape . My motorcycle is suicide shift and at lights or damp conditions my feet would sometimes slip . Stuff works great I'll be doing it to my planes brake and rudder pedals next . 

I'll take a picture next time I'm at my hanger . I basically took a strip of 3 led lights and put them on a thin clear piece of plastic facing my tank. I had pictures I'll see if I can find them . BTW I have tons of led lights so if you ever want some I have plenty . 

That's how I did mine but I also added a strip of led lights to help with those not so sunny days . 

Couple months ago my dad was diagnosed with lymphoma. It's right behind his eye and is already starting to shrink for some reason. They have him scheduled for all the radiation stuff that goes along with it . Hopefully him and Ed can kick cancers ass. This is a disease they definitely need a cure for . My dad was the one who got me into flying so I owe it to him to keep going and teach my daughters the same thing . 

This is what they look like with the tri gear. I like it better this way instead having the wing as the landing gear. The price was right for me . I got it in trade for helping someone work on there plane . 

Picked up a quickie q200 tri gear project. Hopefully going to yamaha power this bad boy . 

I have a facet saved on my watch list thats around $50 pumping 2-4 psi . I believe 4-6 psi is a little much for my little 582. 

I probably don't need it then . I still would be interested in a fuel pump if it fits the bill. 

Gotcha . there's no gascolator in mine . hmmm 

Is it the standard little gascolator like in a mkIV or something bigger ? Mine is about as big around as a coke can and maybe 16" tall . Also what kind of fuel pumps and psi ? I've been toying with the idea of adding one to mine like everyone else is doing .
