I thought the early 582 never ran a thermostat. If I have one I'm probably going to pull it . In Florida I don't really need it anyway, plus I always have to fly my speedwing to the ground anyway. Power off it drops like a rock .

On your spare time come work on my avid since I do all work and barely any play haha

Mine is just the standard push pull likr a cessna. I wanna run the same thing in my quickie. I already have the throttle cable 3 to 1 lever like my mk4 .I'm going to ise that with the yamaha set up. Basically taking everything I like on my mk4 and doing it to my quickie.

Weird but I happen to weld and powder coat so shouldn't be a problem. Does it still have the push pull throttle? That's another thing I need for my quickie

Wonder if they can be converted to run disc brakes. I need rudder pedals for my quickie project. 

I run a mix of avgas and mogas . Never had a problem

Are the rudder pedals setup for disc brakes ?

I may be interested in the motor. I'm seriously considering going yamaha on my avid now and that means my 582 will be taken off.

If someone could tell me what springs were used I could make the nose gear. I've talked to a buddy at work about making it and various other parts for planes. We have acces to a laser cutter and a cnc mill etc.

what kind of wing components ?

Yeah , I bought some a while back that were supposed to fit but they ended up being to small. I run 6-6 for mains and 5-5 on the nose. 

If anyone has a antenna laying around I'll take it . I'm using my rubber one on my radio for now. 

I have a radiator cowl never used amd my old giant oil tank for a mk4 oil injection unit. It's all dirty now but I will clean it before it's shipped. I'm taking offers not really worried about price .

What size tires do the wheel pants fit ? 

Now you guys got me thinking about redoing my antenna set up. I just need to find a decent antenna now . 

I have the fiberglass seat now and always wondered what the sling seat looks like and if I would have to modify anything for it to work. My seat sits almost vertical making long flights kind of miserable. 

How many feet does it take to do the landing gear ? I forgot how much I ordered a couple years ago amd want to change mine soon . 

Just made these for a obvious beer .... Light up draft system, I made 2 draft systems that are missiles. Just waiting for them to come back from powder coat. I took a before picture but the file is to big to load. 

Luckily I can make you a sweet beer tap
