    Last year Florida had a bear season just north of my house. I wanted to get a license but they were gone as fast as they opened it up . There's talk about it happening again this year so we'll see .

    Just got my power back on . Tomorrow I plan to head out to Zephyrhills to check on my plane . So far we got really lucky but the airport had tornadoes and everything else go through.

    Looks to be a little rich or to much oil . My 582 gets a little gummy after about 50 hrs but nothing like that.

    Zephyrhills is where my plane is at . We woke up with no power but so far not much damage I can see yet. There's no word when we will get power back or be able to get back to work. We'll see how long the bill collectors take to start calling wanting money from all of us . My neighbor and I have a whoever wins the day the first call comes bet . If he wins I cut his grass if I win he cuts mine . Bad thing if he loses he hires a lawn service and my lawn is way bigger then his .

    Haha I think my heaviest was around 165 lbs I regularly stay around 145-150 . I'm definitely shrinking though. I was taller then my wife 11 years ago bit now she's taller then me . I had to much fun destroying my body on my bike.

    Well it looks like it's dropping to a category 1 or 2 hurricane by the time it hits my area. So far it's just been a normal rainy day. My wife still insists on making a bunker in the hallway of my daughters rooms for all of us to sleep in .

    You go to the faa website and do a n number lookup and you can reserve it for a year then if it still isn't assigned to a plane you have to renew it again.

    So far so good . Looks like they already removed the little tree that fell in the yard next door. They're starting to give certain areas curfews now .

    Look at the ones I got . They work great for my plane and were about $12.00 a pair shipped from ebay.

    I'm more worried about my plane then anything. They just reported 2 tornadoes where my hanger is . We're as ready as we can be at home . I'll aim at my generation no problem I know to many people that are just flat out idiots and they probably will never grow up .

    Yeah unfortunately my generation are a bunch of idiots. So far just some wind and rain . We're not in a evacuation zone and are hoping the trees around will keep blocking most the wind. Flooding for us isn't a concern either we're up on a hill so the street might flood but we do have a big drainage ditch just down the street the size of a football field. I'll be taking some pictures and videos but it's not going to be in my area until tonight.

    Thanks , the boredom has already set in though. They still can't make up there mind about my area at all . Luckily I have a newer house that had to get built to higher wind specs . Hopefully nothing real bad happens , I kind of live around a pocket of trees and woods so I'm not sure how much wind we'll get. I was just outside and the tree tops are moving pretty good but barely any wind at my house . Who knows what's going to happen just gotta ride it out . My youngest daughter and I are learning how to make play doh cakes and pies to pass the time .

    I was going to bring my manual home today but forgot in the rush to get home and finish my hurricane prep. If you still need the avid one I'll be going out to inspect my hanger after the hurricane and will grab it then .

    We're as ready as we can be . Hopefully it doesn't build back up and turns sooner . Sounds like South Florida is going to get the worst of it . My neighbor and I helped each other get our houses ready . My other neighbor is goooone. They bought all there supplies and ended up hauling a$$ somewhere instead of staying. I'm pretty sure they did the same thing a couple months ago for a storm we had. It leads me to believe they haven't lived in Florida long. Be safe and hopefully nothing bad happens.

    Looks like Irma is going to be coming right where I'm at . Luckily I'm not in any evacuation or flood zones . Sunday night monday morning is when it's expected to be in my area. There's absolutely no gas anywhere so this morning when I went to my hanger to make sure everything was secure I filled a couple of 5 gallon gas cans with avgas just in case I need to get the family out.I'll be posting pictures of anything interesting going on . So far a old rotted tree next door fell .

    There are a couple of kitfox owners around where I'm at that I don't think are on here . One guy has a newly finished kitfox 4 with a lycoming or continental in it and another in a trailer at a rundown ultralight airport . I'm trying to find out what's going on with the one sitting .

    I know I made sure my hanger was straightened up and made sure my gantry was locked so my motor will stay about 4 ft off the ground . I'm sure he's keeping that motor safe that's a big investment compared to my little old 582gh

    Your struts are upside down . You want the rod facing down .
