Flying again

Hi all,  as some of you know, I've been going through radiation and chemo treatments for the last 5 months.  Finished that up a couple weeks ago but it left me real weak.  Lost 30 lbs as well. Seems that the treatments have been successful, but after I meet with the surgeon in mid june, I'll know for sure.   Last night was a nice calm evening and I drug the Kitfox 4 out and flew for 1.3 hrs.  Wow was that nice.   Hadn't flown in over 2 months and it sure was missed.  So I'm in a good mood and just had to tell others about it.  JImChuk

Thanks Leni,  Got another .9 hr last evening and am planning to give a buddy a flight tomorrow evening.   I see the surgeon on Thursday and will have a better understanding of where things are.  I'm pretty optimistic based on the last CT scan though.  JImChuk

After 6 months of radiation and chemo treatments, I met with the surgeon today at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.  After the MRI,  digital probing. and the scope, he said he could find no trace of cancer.  I've got to back in two months for the same tests, but he says he is 95 percent certain that he will be saying the same thing then.  Wahoo!  I'm stoked!  Like having a new lease on life.  Thanks again to all the well wishers!  JImChuk
