elevator gap seal

I saw a discussion on FB about sealing the elevator/rudder gap. Anybody have info/pics?

I use clear Gorilla Tape.  Don’t know how much difference it really makes, some for sure.

I saw someone on FB who had 3D printed elevator seals using TPU filament. The TPU is soft & squishy like foam, and it looked like he was getting much better elevator authority in slow flight. Would love to see some weight & speed comparisons!

For those that live where water can be solid, make sure you apply it to the top of the elevator only - on the bottom can trap water and freeze the elevator in place.
