As mentioned in the TeamKitfox ad, just putting model 4 wings on does not make a model 3 a 1200 pound gross weight airplane. There were several fuselage modifications and wing strut modifications. The original model 4's had the same 1050 pound gross weight as the model 3 but had the new airfoil on the wing.

20 hours in 10 years, the motor is needing rebuild or replacement.

The model 4 wings and flapperons do not work properly with the early Avid style mixer.  This plane will handle questionably.

Not an Avid. You don’t know if the mixer was suitably changed or how it flies.

I’m the second owner and have listed how it was certified. And it flies fine to my hand.

He is talking about the early kitfox mixers on the model 1-3, which were Avid style mixers.

Wayne, we are basically a friendly group and I hope I speak for the majority when I say that.  Could you take a photo of the flaperon mixer behind the seat?  That would settle the mixer concern.  BTW, I have a Model 2 with Model 4 wings too.

Good luck with the sale.
