Gap Seals

Got the bird out today to finish installing the header tank sender unit and decided to install the gap seals on the rudder and elevators. Worked out pretty good and doesn't look to noticeable. I've tried about every type of tape there is in the past and nothing seemed to work good. It either comes off, turns yellow from sunlight or cracks after a few months. Found a roll of Gorilla clear tape that's UV proof and stays flexible (so they say). About the stickiest stuff I've ever seen. We'll see what happens.

I’ve only used the black stuff, not the clear. I used it for taping up a rip in a snowmachine seat. It held up for years, and was still going strong when I sold the machine. There was no taking it easy on it, either. Gorilla Tape works like no other.
