Nevada Flying

I call it the cow camp. East of Fallon. West of the Stillwater range. The county maintains the runway, uh I mean road. The rancher has a solar powered well. He fills the water truck and hauls water around to different locations. Lots of mud flats and county maintained runways, I mean roads to fly off of.

That is perfect Rick.  Wish I had a plane when I used to live in Utah, a lot of long gravel runways there as well.  Hope to have the SuberAvid II built in a few years to leave at the place in Hood River; maybe I can catch up with some of you guys flying around the northwestern states.

Thanks Randy. Starting to try touch and goes on narrower dirt roads. This is a fun airplane. Can be a little skittish on landings.

Yep, it is great to have places you can keep honing your skills.
