Wondering what everyone uses to clean their windshields and if there is a a good "RainX" type product that works on plastic.

I just use lemon pledge for everything from fabric to lexan works good.  It works ok with wet weather too.  I have used favor too but I like pledge better.

I agree with TJay. I have two products I use. One is lemon pledge and the other is a motorcycle all in one cleaning product. Both work great. I will get the name of the bike product for you but Lemon pledge is easier to find and work great!

I use lemon pledge as well, they also have a rainex plastic that I have not yet tried but it says it is lexan safe!

Thanks guys.  I'll get some of both.  I love how RainX works when you hit a shower and it also seems to make bug cleanup easier.

What cloth is best to keep from scratching?

I only use micro fiber towels. I pick a bunch up at Harbor Freight or Walmart. I also pre-soak the planes window with a water/soap mixture in a spray bottle to soften the bugs/dirt before cleaning.  I hate scratches....lol
