Starter for 582

The guy I sold my aircraft just didn’t like the pull start after all, wondering if anyone has a 582 starter?

Ive got a 532 starter I'm looking to sell, i hear the motor is the same but the adapter is different?

582s after serial # 4,015,239 use a hydro damper that is fastened to the flywheel.  Earlier 582s and the 532 do not use that part.  Therefore, the spacer that goes between the flywheel and the large starter gear is thicker or thinner depending on if the damper is used.  The rest should be the same.  JImChuk

Matthew, the starter I got from you had the spacer part # 2 for the hydro damper.  I think you could machine the part # 4 spacer like from a 532 to the size of the # 2 spacer if you have access to a lathe and the skill to use it.  JImChuk
