Nice plane Joey! Love it!

Two comments:

1) tailwheel spring looks like too much arch therefore preventing optimum angle of attack on takeoff or landing without dragging tailwheel.

2) You still havent started the 912 conversion! Why not? You have all the parts just sitting there. Every moment you fly behind the 582 is time you are NOT flying behind 105 HP of four stroke happiness!!! :-)

My guess is you are between 580 and 600 empty with the 582 now. You can end up around 640 with the 912. Fifty more pounds for 40 more HP (with low power zipper kit). pretty simple math! How long is it going to take me to shame you into starting the conversion?

I KNOW you will tell me "should have done it sooner" once it is done. :-)

I just watched a youtube video where Trent Palmer weighed his kitfox with the new rotax motor. It was well north of 900 pounds! I had no idea it weighed that much. It was over 900 before installing the new engine.

Was just thinking, when was the last time Joey posted?  Been a while I'm thinking.  Hope all is well.  I'm also wodering how the extended speedwing compares to the STOL wing.  JImChuk
