Posted 5 Apr 2017 Anyone what model the speedwing and aerobat wing were introduced. The history that I found here doesn't mention them until model C. I have a possible B model that appears to have an aerobat wing, it is 23'8" long and undercambered, but it has 18" ribs on it.TIA Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted 5 Apr 2017 (edited) Avid added different wing options sometime during the transition from B to C models and several kits ended up with a combination of different wing and fuselage parts. The aerobat wing is built using the same rib spacing as the heavy hauler but with the speedwing ribs (not undercamber ribs) and length, They also used a couple steel drag tubes instead of all aluminum.
