Shock Cord Fastner (Aircraft Spruce 06-12900)

I am getting ready to replace the bungees on my landing gear and I have read that I should use 3/8 Shock Cord (Aircraft Spruce 06-12400) at 90 inches between the loops.  As I was getting ready to buy the bungees, I noticed that they had these nice little fasteners (06-12900) which should work nicely.  Has anyone ever used them?  I presume here that it should be 90 inches bottom of fastener to bottom of fastener.

I don't think you should use those fasteners.  It's real easy to make a loop that is tied off with safety wire.  If it was me, I would get 18' of bungee material, do the first side without cutting the piece.  After you tie it off and cut it, youwill have extra length to hold onto in order to tie the second loop in the second bungee.  If you look at the third message down from the top, you will see an attachment from Steve Winder that tells how to install your bungees the easy way.  I actually made more marks half way in between his, then there is a mark for the top and bottom of the seat truss.  JImChuk
