STITS PLAYMATE WITH WINGS FOLDED

I just got a copy of an old EAA booklet, vol 3, Aircraft Design, and found the only photo I have seen of a RAY STITS' PLAYBOY with wings folded.   VAN bought one from RAY and redesigned it to be the first RV -

note also the nosewheel is different than the RVs -  But, RV wings don't fold?

Ed - search Barnstormers, there is a Playmate listed in upstate NY right now and the ad shows wing folding.

Here's a short video of the Playmate for sale showing the wings being folded.  It is a different and interesting process.  The wings are very easy and fast to fold.

     Kool video - Needs bigger tires and less GW - too heavy for LSA.

If Van had made the first RV as an LSA I would have built one years ago - I've had Kitfoxitis for about 25 years!
