  1. I'm building a kitfox IV speedster from a 31 year old kit.  In those years, the plastic film covering the flaperons has become one with the metal.
Once upon a time I found a video where the poster had found a stripper that seemed to work given enough time, but I've been unable to find it again. Dug through this site, and another, no joy.
    I'm open to suggestions!

  2. I'm looking for advice on the position of the flaperon control arm in the turtledeck bearing. I acquired a new to me aircraft that had a damaged wing and a used replacement wing. After hanging the replacement wing I notice that the flaperon control arm sits about 1 inch higher on the turtledeck bearing than the original wing.
Is this an issue?Does this misalignment indicate other problems with the replacement wing? Can I just modify the bearing attachment positions on the fuselage and turtledeck appox. 1 inch higher to accommodate the control arm height? Thanks for reading my post and for giving any advice that you have to offer.

    thanks in advance!
  5. In the manual for the mk4 it says flaperon hinges should be at a 50 degree angle off of rib tip. How crucial is this? I would like to mount the hinges closer to 55-60 degrees to get the bolt in the center of the rib like the outboard hung bolt is.
