    Not gonna buy it, but dang is that cool!  
    I’ve owned a couple Harley’s in my life, they are better bikes than their reputation.  Nostalgic, traditional, American.  Sure, most jap and euro bikes will smoke ‘em, but that wasn’t the point.

    So, I got my BasicMed exam...
    Appearantly I didn’t read the extent of the exam, and to my surprise my doctor needed to look at my anus.  What the heck?  Why on earth does the FAA care about my anus?  Pucker factor?  Ability to grip the seat in an emergency?  I promised the doc it was there, but it didn’t matter what I said.
    I just feel so dirty... needed to tell someone.  Maybe there are more of you that experienced this too, maybe we need a therapy group.
    But seriously, what the hell FAA?!  Any doctors on the forum that can throw out a guess?

    >Stock landing gear
    >No Lights
    >No copilot brakes
    >No radios or nav aids
    >Simple paint, or as mentioned above poly spray
    >No pitch trim option
    >No fairings
    >Fuses instead of CBs.

    That area looks like a hell of a lot of fun.  Just wrapped up a week at the Reno Air Races, and as much as I love seeing guys blow their hard earned money and putting their lives on the line, I think I’d rather be at a light sport/ultralight event.

    Stuck in Oakland for at least anothet 24 hours, drove out late last night to fix a Falcon 50EX.  Parts in order....
    Looking for things to do, prefer aviation related and on a mechanics budget.
    Headed over to the Oakland Aviation Museum now, there's a kitfox there.
    Any suggestions?
