Good to know! I'll do some research and see if I can get new pads for them. Might be enough to get me by for now.

Yeah I'm still always amazed how short the take off is! The landing roll not so much because the brakes are terrible lol. The cylinders look similar to matco's mcmc-5a but they are a different brand. I'm not sure what the calipers are as they don't have any markings. Thinking about just starting over with a completely new setup, anyone have any recommendations? Single puck or dual? I want to get taller and wider cub style gear eventually and I have a set of nanco n800s for it but I definitely can't put those on until the braking is better.

    New kitfox!
Anyone recognize this bird?? (If you've seen it before, you'll probably recognize it cause its definitely got a unique paint job to say the least! lol)   I've run across it several times on this forum before but now I can't find it for some reason. If I remember right, the guy had plans to rebuild it and then ended up going with a model 4 or something. I can't remember his user name!   Anyway I bought it as a big pile of parts from an A&P friend in the Wichita area back in August of 2021. At the time I was still working on my PPL so I didn't really work on it much until about 9 months ago. I had him rebuild the engine (582 gray head) but other then that I've done most of the work myself. I'm not sure of the whole story but from what I can tell, it was flying back in the late 90's and at some point the engine went bad. After that it got taken apart and changed hands 5 or 6 times before I ended up with it. I basically rebuilt or replaced anything that needed it and then put it all back together.  I'm happy to say she's flying again and I've loved every minute of it so far!
Thought I'd make a quick post to let everyone know another fox is back in the sky where it belongs!
(P.S this is my first post so hopefully I put it in the right place )
